The Video Production Process
Below I have outlined the seven stages of my full production process. Depending on your individual requirements some stages may not apply and any service can be used individually.
Stage 1 - Pre production meeting (Consultancy)
During this initial meeting we will have the opportunity to discuss the objective of your video production, who it is aimed at and any technical, creative or marketing considerations.
Stage 2 - Video treatment (Production plan)
With the information given to me I will create a document (known in industry as a 'Treatment') that clearly outlines the agreed outcome of the video and any further recommendations that I may have. This document will give you the opportunity to review and amend all planned production stages.
Stage 3 - The shooting script (Video script)
Using information provided I will write a script for the video. You will have the opportunity to review and amend this script before a production timetable is agreed upon.
Stage 4 - The production
Filming will take place at times agreed on in the production timetable.
Stage 5 - Video editing
All material filmed will be edited together with titles, effects, narration and any other elements required. This rough edit allows feedback and amendments, and once approved your final video will be recorded to the required format.
Stage 6 - DVD/CD authoring or conversion to streaming media formats
If you require your production on DVD or CD I am able to create professional bespoke interactive interfaces. Interactivity can range from chapter menus to interactive games/quizzes. Various media can be added to the DVD such as a powerpoint presentation that then can be played back on a standard DVD player.
Video can also be converted to formats suitable for use in a powerpoint presentation or streaming from your web site.
Stage 7 - DVD and CD duplication and printing
From a master CD or DVD I can duplicate 2000+ copies of your production. I also offer DVD surface printing and design, as well as complete packaging solutions.
